Mac & Me
The great patterns of Mac & Me are the designs of Leslie Scanlon who lives in Maine. Her designs cover everything from babies' blankets to women’s yoga socks. Leslie started the project as a way of saving for the university fees of her daughter, Mac, when she was very young. It’s been fun reading the little blurbs on the back of the patterns as Mac has grown, each of which describes her latest 'when I grow up' dream (architect, Olympic swimmer, research doctor; Mac’s really not sure what she wants to be, but it will surely involve really cool clothes, shoes and lipgloss!)
Most of the Mac & Me patterns use Blue Sky Alpacas yarns and offer terrific pattern support for them. Each is written very clearly and produced beautifully with a colour photograph of the item.
