size: approx. 34" x 24" + 2" for the ruffle.

yarn: 3 colours (a, b, &.c) of any worsted weight cotton or cotton blend that is light weight - 350 yds colour a, 350 yds colour b, 250 yds colour c.

needles: size 7 (us) or see needed to obtain the correct gauge
1 smaller size needle (size 2, 3 or 4) for picking up sts for the ruffles.

gauge: 4 sts & 6 ½ rows = 1" in stockinette st (stockinette stitch) on larger needles. Because this is a blanket gauge is not critical.

note: cut yarn after each stripe is completed.
