Romi - Taygete Shawl

A lovely nymph pursued by Zeus, Taygete was said to have been transformed by Artemis into a doe to elude capture. Later, the deception being unsuccessful, she bore Zeus a son, Lacedaemon, the founder of Sparta.
The shawl uses a 4ply yarn, you'll need two colours and 385 yards / 352 meters of each one. The needle requires is 3.5mm and though the pattern doesn't specify a size, I'd recommend a 80/100cm needle.

Yarn : Two skeins (one in main colour, one in contrast) A Verb for Keeping Warm Creating Superwash Sock (4ply). 385 yards / 352 meters

Needle : 3.5 mm

Gauge: 20 sts/30 rows = 4"/10cm in garter st after blocking

Finished Measurements: Width, tip to tip: 91 inches after blocking Depth, point to top: 21 inches after blocking
