PP - Koh-i-Nor

Koh-i-Nor meaning ‘Mountain of light’ is a triangular shawl knitted from the bottom up.

The shape is achieved by side increases on every row. Borders are worked in simple moss stitch an the intarsia panel in a diamond lace with a ‘twist’ for which cable needle is needed.
There are two sizes given and examples shown in 2 different weight yarns sock and sport. But the pattern is fully adjustable.
Medium sizes requires 1skein of sock MC yarn (400m) and 0.5 skein of CC (200m).
Sport weight version knitted in Madelinetosh Pashmina requires 2 skeins of MC and 1 skein of CC.
The colour combos for a small one are Juno Alice Sock Velvet and Bittersweet
and for a large one : Madelinetosh Pashmina Stovepipe and Silver Fox
The pattern is charted and really easy and fun to knit.
