New Winter Workshop scheduled!
Three Sundays in a row: November 17th, 24th + December 1st.
Workshops are with Kath Webber as the teacher!
The classes are on Sundays and are from 11am-1pm
WHEN BOOKING A CLASS ONLINE, OTHER THAN BY CALLING THE SHOP, PLEASE MAKE SURE TO PUT YOUR PHONE NUMBER AND EMAIL IN THE 'NOTES' PART OF THE ORDER.
This class aims to introduce students to the basics of crochet and leave them with the skills necessary to tackle their first project. As well as getting to grips with the basic stitches, the class will cover shaping, colour changing and working in the round. Simple granny squares will introduce students to pattern reading, and information on basic finishing techniques is provided.
All materials are provided
Class 1: Tension, holding the yarn, chain and working in rows. Learning double crochet, treble crochet and how to work neatly in rows.
Class 2: How to read a pattern, shaping (increasing, decreasing) and changing colour
Class 3: Working in the round (starting loop/magic loop), the classic granny square and some tips on joining.
Sunday classes: Three sessions of 2 hours 11am-1pm

Kath Webber is a crochet designer and the commissioning editor of Inside Crochet magazine. Kath has been crocheting for ten years, and after publishing her first crochet book with Hannah Elgie in 2013, Kath has designed for magazines all over the world. Classes are held in the shop. Maximum of 7 students per class.
100% deposit is required at registration. Cancellation policy:
Full refund of payment for a class will be given for cancellations only if the spot can be filled by another student. Please be considerate.
We reserve the right to cancel a class in unusual circumstances. We try to avoid this wherever possible, but sometimes it cannot be avoided. In this situation, of course, a full refund will be given.
