Inspired by summers spent in Tivoli Gardens in the centre of Copenhagen as a child , Trine from CaMaRose has created this stunning new blanket pattern using their sport/DK weight yarn Hverdagsuld.  Hverdagsuld is 100% organic and machine washable!  This makes a good sized cosy blanket using 11 of the beautiful colours in the range.  The yarn also softens considerably with the first wash.

Colours used in the photograph are listed below but you can of course let your imagination choose whichever colours you fancy!

If you like the colours used , we also have wonderful kits already put together for you here.

The blanket uses  19 skeins in total.

Yarn: Řkologisk Hverdagsuld (Ecological Everyday wool) from CaMaRose.dk

Suggested needles and crochet hook: Circular needle size 4 mm (100 cm) and crochet hook size 4 mm.

Gauge in knitting: 18 sts x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Crochet tension: Approximately 18 dc = 10 cm.

NOTE: The blanket is knit flat back and forth using intarsia. Intarsia is a way to knit bigger sections in a contrasting colour in a single colour background. This is what creates the harlequin motif.
