New in at Loop!
We are excited to bring you Daughter of a Shepherd's Brume Aran . The Aran version of the popular misty, silvery version of the original Hebridean/Zwartbles Heritage yarn.
The natural white of the Exmoor Blueface enhances the silver tones found in the Hebridean to create a natural shade with lots of movement. Brume Aran is a soft and plump, worsted spun yarn, that produces a fabric with bounce. You will be pleased to know this new addition retains the original (and famous) signature scent of the fields, flock and new lambs in straw-filled barns.
The Hebridean fleece was clipped on 19th July 2017 Escrick Park Estate clip at Escrick Park Estate and both the Zwartbles and Exmoor Blueface are sourced locally to the mill in Devon.
Rachel's passion for the importance of provenance, collaborating with both shepherds, mills, designers and weavers has been a wonder to watch unfold over the last few years. We love her, her yarn and her story. See more of her story on our youtube channel as well as our Instagram TV channel.
