The cardigan is worked top-down and back and forth on a circular needle. In the beginning, only one num­ber of stitches are given for all sizes but as the work progresses, separate number of stitches are given to every size.

Finished bust measurement: 
Approx. 55 (58) 61 (64) cm.

Finished length: 
Approx. 31 (34) 37 (40) cm. 

Yarn: 
Snefnug from CaMaRose Snefnug consists of 55% Baby Alpaca, 35% cotton and 10% extra fine merinowool.

Yarn alternative: 
Silk/mohair laceweigth held double.

Yarn requirements Snefnug: 
3 (3) 4 (4) skeins of Snefnug.

Yarn requirements Midnatssol (single color):
 4 (4) 5 (5) skeins of Midnatssol. This is a laceweight alpaca , merino and tencel blend with 218 yards(199 meters) on 25 grams.  

Yarn requirements Midnatssol 3 shades: 
6 (6) 6 (6) skeins total of Midnatssol. This is for all sizes. If you prefer to knit the cardigan in 3 shades (like the pink model) you will need 6 skeins total divided into the following colors: 9506 Lys Beige, 9520 Lys Pudder and 9500 Rĺhvid Midnatssol. The yarn requirements include yarn for one swatch!

Buttons: 
5 buttons width = 20 mm.

Suggested needle size: 
5 mm circular needle (60 cm) or longer for the ribbing in the neck and 6 mm circular needle (60 cm) or longer for the yoke, the body and the sleeves. 5 mm double pointed needles for the pocket edges and the sleeve cuffs and 6 mm double pointed needles for the pockets.

Note! The needle sizes are for guidance only. Always choose the needle size that gives you the correct gauge. Making a swatch before casting on is recommended to ensure that you are using the needle size that will give you the right fit.

It is also recommended to use a row counter to help keep track of the rows.

Gauge: 
Approx. 13 sts x 24 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm in half fisherman’s rib with 6 mm needles. Approx. 15 sts x 22 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm over stockinette stitch with 6 mm needles.
