Our London shop is now open! We have thought very hard about the best way to keep our staff and visitors as safe as possible, and have put together measures to balance safety with the experience of visiting a yarn shop in real life!
Our online shop is also open to send out beautiful parcels to all of our customers. If you are local in London and would prefer to pick up your order we also offer 'click and collect' where we will pass your order to you outside the shop.
First and foremost we’d like to say thank you to our wonderful customers for your continued support and patience during this unprecedented situation. We are all wanting to get back to being able to work on and finish projects to keep us focussed and in our happy place as much as possible. With that in mind, we’d like to clarify a few points which may affect the time it takes to receive your parcel.
Normally held at the shop on Thursday evenings. With the health of our customers and staff in mind we have suspended our wonderful Knit Nights until further notice due to COVID19.
As a result of Covid-19, there are significant delays to items being sent to national and international destinations.
Along with an increased demand in online ordering, there has also been an increase in delays to postal services in many countries. With that in mind, we appreciate your continued patience whilst we do our absolute best in making sure your parcels reach you. Please also keep in mind that we are working with a very limited crew of two people in keeping with the social distancing and safety guidelines put in place for our staff and general public.
We ask that you do not change your order once the order is placed as we do not have the staff to monitor emails as closely as we would like or physically change orders once they have been packaged.
If you have a question or change to your order that cannot be helped please let us know in the NOTES section of your order rather than sending the shop an email so we can address it as quickly as possible.
Due to exceptional cost increases from the US which are outside of our control, including a temporary air carrier supplement imposed by Royal Mail we have had no choice but to raise our postal prices to the USA. We are sorry about this, but the prices imposed in the US for 'last-mile delivery' makes it hard for us not to reflect this in our own delivery charges.
International prices are also increasing slightly.
To make sure your parcels reach you without delay, we will be switching to a fully tracked service so you will be able to see where your package is every step of the way, from dispatch to final delivery. You will receive a confirmation email with your tracking number when your parcel is despatched. Please keep this email for reference in case of problems. You can also track your parcel with Royal Mail Track and Trace.
The situation changes daily so please check with your local or National Postal Service websites (Royal Mail in the UK) for updates on their services and delivery times.
