Showing offAbout the teacher:
Taught by Jane Lithgow @probablyjane on Instagram and Twitter.
Jane Lithgow is a lifelong knitter, taught by her grandmother as a child. She can draw on this experience to give good clear, practical advice to the novice and expert knitter alike.
Infectiously enthusiastic and reassuringly patient, she regularly teaches at knitting shops across the country and is currently one of the Fibre Artists in Residence at Stepney City Farm. She has also taught and demonstrated at music and fibre festivals, in museums, prisons, schools and art galleries.
She is a published designer with a special interest in designing accessories, particularly mittens and socks.
Born and brought up on the Isle of Wight she is based in London. When she is not knitting she can be found walking coast paths and dreaming of living by the sea again.
