Orkney Angora "St Magnus" 50/50 DK is a versatile yarn which is suitable for both crochet and knitting. A blend of angora and lambswool makes it incredibly soft and fluffy, yet durable.
Hand-dyed and spun by Orkney Angora, a small family run business situated on the Isle of Sanday, one of the Orkney's most northerly isles.

This yarn exhibits all the finest qualities of angora. Its versatility and quality is demonstrated by its suitability for use in accessories, such as socks and gloves, as well as exclusive designer knitwear. Available in over 35 superb shades , this beautiful yarn demonstrates a delightful lustre when dyed, augmenting the natural beauty of the yarn.

Shade variations occur from dye batch to dye batch. Whilst the shades have been scanned in good faith, the quality of reproduction will depend on your computer setup, number of screen colours enabled etc. Please note that as this is a hand-dyed yarn, each skein is unique. We recommend striping alternate skeins when using more than one in order to achieve a more natural gradation.
